How to change iGO8 wallpaper ? skin ? colormap ?
1. To apply a new wallpaper in iGO8, download the wallpaper of your choice on this blog (click on the picture to obtain directly the full resolution .bmp file) and put it in the folder ui_igo8/240_320/background on your memory card (if this folder doesn't exist just create it !)
If you prefer landscape mode, just rotate the picture and put it in the folder ui_igo8/320_240/background
2. To include a new skin, put the skin file (.zip) in the folder content/skin
3. To change the 3D colormap , just put the dayheightcolormap.bmp or nightheightcolormap.bmp file in the folder ui_igo8/common

What I can't understand: When I click 'Search', I can search for adresses, POI's etc. In this window, I can see a blue pencil on the bottom right. When I cklick the pencil, it changes to a blue world. When I cklick the blue world, I can see the blue pencil again. What's the function of this button?
^^ Saw that in v3.9 as well. I would like to what this function is too.
Indeed i would also like to learn about this function.
Furthermore it's a excelent job you guys do with this skin.

These are excellent Ultra Skins..
question I have is... how do you get these skins to work on a PNA device.. I'm running iGO8 V8.0.0.29000 and everytime I install the Ultra skins, and try to click on "Map".. the device reboots itself..
The pencil/blue world thing, I believe it is a bug.
The pencil is the default plan button. Maybe the author wanted to add more functions for this button but did not finish.

The language file in Dutch has English voices. I solved it by copiing the language files from iGo8_Ultra_3.2.Nick.Dutch
